My Story
For the Newcomers and the True Believers…hey there, I’m Keila, {pronounced Kay-la}. At 45, I’m celebrating 27 years of marriage with the love of my life, with four beautiful kids, sharing my days with two pups, a passionate photographer and the proud owner of The Low Key Company.
With 16 tattoos as my storybook ( I will tell the stories one day), creativity flows through my veins…a legacy passed down by my abuelita…a talented seamstress who ran her own home based business her whole life, a true inspiration.
In 2014, my Puerto Rican roots transplanted to Florida, and my camera took a backseat as I delved into the medical field as a certified coder. A dedicated profession that eventually led to both physical and mental exhaustion. Yet, life's twists introduced a newfound passion…crafting candles in concrete vessels. In 2023, with a small candle kit discovered during a Christmas gift making venture, I unearthed a new love.
Yet, in this twists of life, a newfound passion blossomed… crafting candles and playing with concrete. This unexpected journey became the pivotal 360-degree shift that brought me here, sharing those infectious Low Key vibes. The beach, with its serene of low key lifestyle, has always held a special place in my heart, it is my favorite place in the whole world. It’s this essence I hope to infuse into The Low Key Company…a haven of serenity…the fragrances of the beach…salts, moss, wood, orchids, sugar… each note transporting you to those crystal-clear waters of Puerto Rico and Florida. Join me on this vibrant journey of life, love, and all things Low Key! 🌺✨
